CARA DELEVINGNE IS THE MOST DESIRED MODEL TO COME
OUT OF THE U.K. IN YEARS. TOM HIDDLESTON IS A BRITISH STAGE
AND SCREEN STAR WITH A STORIED PEDIGREE. THEY MEET-IN

EXT.: VILLA IN CAP D’A.N'I‘IBES-DAY
On abroad Veranda-the sun sparkling off the harbor and the white
roofs of the village beyond-CARA (20, an It girl with a reputation
for idiosyncratic clothing choices and madcap stunts) waits to meet
her costar, TOM (52, a veteran of the BBC and the Shakespea.rean
stage). 
She expects him to be arrogant, a.n Etonian old boy with a
string of leading ladies in his past.
CLOSE ON her thin, delicate hands as she toys with the heavy script.
She scowls. Tom enters, wea.ring a black suit, looking serious.

TOM
You’ve been a darling for waiting. Will you forgive me‘?

CARA
NO. Yes. Only if you promise not to make fun of me.

TOM, flashing a sudden smile.
I’ll only do that if you make fun of me first.

As Cara steps forward to shake his hand, a large bird-a falcon or
hawk-unexpectedly swoops close overhead, BEATING ITS WINGS
audibly. Cara. and Tom, startled by this apparition, look up. The sky is
intensely blue. He steadies her, placing a hand-tanned from his latest
location shoot-on her marble-white, fragile shoulder.

INT.: DRESSING ROOM OF VILLA-DAY
Entire scene to be shot in mirror, as Cara readies herself for filming to
begin She pulls a. tight little leopa.rd-print dress over her shoulders,
clips a metal choker around her lovely neck, and checks to make sure no
tendrils have escaped from under her severe black Louise Brooks wig.
His eyes a.re aflame as he watches. Gypsy TORCH SONGS can be heard
in the background, coming from the Victrola she keeps in her boudoir.

TOM
Your freedom? But what about Harry? What about Jake?

CARA
What I said was true-there's no difference between the
sexes. Men, women: the same.

TOM
They are?

CARA
Well, maybe there is a difference, but it’s a. little difference.

TOM
Well, you know as the French say

CARA
What do they say?

TOM
Viva la. dfiference!

CARA
Hurrah for that little difference.
